“Walk as Children of Light”
Ephesians 5:7-14

“Christians shouldn’t live like the world, indulging in sinful things, but should live holy lives, being obedient to God in everything. And if we do live like the world, it is a sign we might not be real-deal Christian at all.”

5 Specific Commands Paul Gives:
1) Don’t become partners with the sons of disobedience. (v7)
2) Walk as children of light. (v8-9)
3) Try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. (v10)
4 and 5) Take no part in unfruitful works of darkness but instead expose them (v 11-14)

4-Are you daily seeking to understand the will of God for your life? Are you striving every day to discern what is pleasing to God? Do you pray and ask for God’s leading and direction in our life? How would you live your life differently if you asked WWJD? How would you live your life differently, if you could see Jesus standing or sitting right next to you?
5- Are you willing to allow another Christian to call out sin in your life?
6- Are you willing to lovingly call out sin in another Christian’s life?
7-How does your life speak prophetically against our culture’s sins? How can you expose the deeds of darkness that the world commits? Are you willing to go against the grain of our culture?
