“Let All Anger Be Put Away from You”
Ephesians 4:17-32

4 Big Truths from Ephesians 4:17-32:
1) True genuine faith and repentance transforms lives.
2) Even though real-deal Christians have been transformed by the Holy Spirit living inside of us, and the power of sin has been broken in our lives, we can still slide back into old sinful patterns.
3) Christians have to actively work to fight against sin and to do things that please God.
4) We shouldn’t get sinfully angry.

REFLECTION/PRAYER:
* Are you a real-deal Christian?
* Have you slidden back into old sinful patterns?
* Are you actively pursuing holiness in your life? Are you fighting against sin? Are you putting forth spiritual effort?
* What’s your home like? Is it a place of peace and joy and warmth? Or is it a place of anger and resentment? What can you do to make it a place of greater peace and joy and warmth?
* Do you find yourself easily provoked? Are you quick to yell at your kids or spouse or your employer or your employees or someone else?
* On a scale of 1-10 are you a warm, peaceful person or an angry person? How would others rank you?
* Is your heart filled with buried anger?
* Is anger causing you to be cold towards your spouse? Is it causing you to withhold your affections from your spouse?
* Who should you confess your anger to?
* Do you live with an angry person? Are you praying for them?
* Anything else God is calling you to confess or believe or think about or resolve to do?
