4 BIG THINGS TO FIND GREAT FELLOWSHIP/CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY
1) Find a good local church to be a part of – and not just going to services, but actually getting to know people, being part of groups and gatherings, serving the church, becoming a member!
2) If there’s not enough fellowship opportunities at your church, find a Christian work, neighborhood, school, campus group to be a part of.
3) Find wonderful Christian friends.
4) Only date and marry real-deal, high character believers who share their values.
* The book of Acts was written by Luke.
* The Bible describes Jesus as a head. And the church as a body.
* Church = 1) local church 2) universal church
OBJECTIONS:
* I can just watch church on TV.
* We have sports on Sundays.
* I have to work on Sundays.
* I work all week and Sundays are my one time to rest and catch up on sleep.
* I just don’t like people or being around people.
PRAYER/REFLECTION
* Give your life to Jesus
* Pray for good friends
* Pray through whether the friends you have are helping you to live a Christian life.
* Pray about how you can be deeper involved with the church and Christian community.
* Pray for relational boldness
* Pray about who you need to invite into Christian community.
* Pray about whether you need to change your schedule to make more time for church, fellowship, community.
* Pray for a godly spouse that you can have fellowship with and pray about whether you should really be dating the person you are now dating.
